Autoridades informaron que se planea destinar tres millones de pesos para remodelar \u00e1reas de cuarentena, m\u00f3dulos caninos y felinos, paseos y manejo seguro de desechos biol\u00f3gicos.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Se implementar\u00e1 un programa de medicaci\u00f3n oral a perros callejeros para prevenir la Rickettsia, especialmente en el este de Tijuana y el oeste de Tecate, zonas m\u00e1s afectadas. Adem\u00e1s, las autoridades anunciaron la expansi\u00f3n del centro hacia tres hect\u00e1reas de terrenos bald\u00edos y la posible inversi\u00f3n de cinco millones de pesos en dos veh\u00edculos que funcionar\u00edan como cl\u00ednicas m\u00f3viles gratuitas de atenci\u00f3n veterinaria.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El secretario de Salud de Baja California, Adri\u00e1n Medina Amarillas, asegur\u00f3 que los sacrificios se reducir\u00e1n, reserv\u00e1ndose para casos inevitables. Tambi\u00e9n se capacitar\u00e1 a polic\u00edas en atenci\u00f3n a la crueldad animal y se crear\u00e1 el Consejo Consultivo Municipal para el Bienestar Animal.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Actualmente, el centro alberga a m\u00e1s de 1,000 animales, y durante el anuncio de este jueves se devel\u00f3 una escultura en honor al bienestar animal.
